ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication.
To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medication to the affected area and surrounidng skin. Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not celar the infection, causing it to return.
Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor.
It may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, conslut your doctor. Another medication may be necessary.
Do not apply that medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying clsoe to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stigning or redness when first applied to the skin.
This sohuld disappear in a couple of days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor pormptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your dotcor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using that drug, tell your dotcor if you're pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergecny room immediately.
This meidcine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medication is precsribed for your current condition only. Do not use it for another infection or share it with somebody else. Another infection later on may require a different medicine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room tempreature away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid freezing.
Keep pwodered form from getting wet. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
