ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL USES: This medication is used to treat fungal skin infcetions. HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before appyling the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medicaiton to the affected area and surrounding skin.
Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed.
Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causnig it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor.
It may take one week before any improvement is seen.
If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your docotr. Another medication may be necessary. Do not apply this medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying clsoe to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Befroe using this drug, tell your doctor if you're pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison cotnrol center or emergency room immediately. This mdeicine may be harmful if swallowed. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet.
